Hands-on, dedicated claims service to put customers back in business swiftly
ORCA RUN OFF
On 6 January 2020, American Financial Group (AFG) announced that it was exiting the Lloyd’s insurance market. Consequently, Neon Underwriting Ltd. has put Lloyd’s Syndicate 2468 into an orderly run-off. Syndicate 2468 is the exclusive risk carrier for all risks underwritten by Orca Insurance Agency A/S.
During this process we have, and continue to be, in regular dialogue with Neon Underwriting Ltd. and other relevant regulators.
To reassure our policyholders and clients, we would ask that you note the following:
Whilst Orca Insurance Agency A/S is not able to accept any new or renewal quotations, it remains fully committed to all existing policyholders and all policies underwritten will be honoured as per their terms and conditions.
Any open claims, or matters arising are unaffected by this announcement and they will continue to be managed in the normal way.
Syndicate 2468 remains fully capitalised and, as with every other syndicate at Lloyd's, will continue to benefit from Lloyd's full chain of security.
Existing policyholders with any questions or concerns should contact their broker in the first instance. If you have any other queries, please liaise with firstname.lastname@example.org
Brexit Part VII
Lloyd’s is proposing to transfer certain EEA insurance policies to Lloyd’s Brussels. The proposed transfer will not change terms and conditions of any policy, except that Lloyd’s Brussels will become the insurer and Data Controller in respect of the transferred policies.
Further information about the proposal (including whether it could affect your pre-transfer position), which policies are transferring, your rights and what you need to do can be found at lloyds.com/brexittransfer.
